Analyzer & tuner

See what you hear.

A large spectrum in its own windows and a tuner that listens right on the console channel.

Spectrum analyzer

A large spectrum wherever you need it.

The analyzer opens in a separate window – several at once with different sources, and even without a console at all, for example on a second screen next to the console.

  • Source: any input of any audio device – with channel names for the console’s USB –, any output of your computer (captured) or the console’s RTA for every channel and Main LR, on the X32 also for buses, matrices and mono
  • Stereo pairs side by side, stacked or combined in one area
  • The microphone of your phone, tablet or laptop as a source, too – for a quick look from the middle of the room, for example
  • RTA bars (1/3 or 1/6 octave), line (1/12 or 1/24 octave) or spectrogram – vertical or horizontal
  • Averaging fast or slow, weighting Z, A or C, peak hold
  • Level with peak, RMS, maximum and the history of the last minute
Spectrum analyzer with RTA bars in third-octave bands, peak hold, choice of source, display, averaging, weighting and orientation, and level display Spectrum analyzer as a high-resolution line (1/24 octave) with peak hold Spectrum analyzer as a spectrogram (waterfall) – how the frequencies change over time Spectrum analyzer with the stereo pair Keys L/R, shown combined: left green, right blue Spectrum analyzer horizontal, frequency on the left Spectrum analyzer with the stereo pair OH L/R horizontal side by side, left channel mirrored

Tuner

Tune right at the channel.

The tuner listens to a console channel via USB or to any audio device on your computer. The needle shows ±50 cents – green means: in tune.

  • Chromatic or for guitar (including Drop D and DADGAD), 4- and 5-string bass, ukulele, violin, viola, cello and banjo
  • Note detected automatically or set manually, adjustable reference pitch
  • A pointer like on a measuring instrument, plus a strobe chase that stands still when the note is in tune
  • MUTE silences the channel on the console while you tune – automatically with Auto mute
  • Straight from the channel view, with the instrument matching the role
