BandAssist

Setlist & music stand

Well prepared for the stage.

Repertoire, setlists with metronome, a music stand for the iPad, MIDI and console scenes per song – and a timer for the evening’s schedule.

Repertoire & setlist

Every song, every gig.

The repertoire holds all of the band’s songs – with key, starting note, who starts, count-in, time signature, tempo and notes, plus a PDF with lyrics, chords or sheet music. From it, you put together a setlist for every gig.

  • Sets with start and end, encores, songs sorted by drag & drop or distributed randomly
  • One-page setlist as a PDF for printing
  • “Setlist” view: songs as large buttons, one tap makes a song the active one; you manage repertoire and setlists right there
  • Rehearsal mode: all songs from A to Z, without a setlist
  • Metronome on its own output, adjust the tempo with − / + or Tap and keep it for the song

Music stand

The sheet music follows the setlist.

The music stand is made for the iPad on the mic stand. It always shows the active song with all its details and the next song – and below it the PDF, fitted as large as possible.

  • Dark display so nothing dazzles on stage – colored chords stay colored; chords can be transposed
  • Handwritten notes and highlighter with Apple Pencil or finger, visible on all devices
  • Page turning with a foot pedal (e.g. AirTurn) or swiping – past the last page straight into the next song
  • When someone changes the song in the setlist, the music stand follows immediately; the monitor mix can be shown at any time

Per song

One tap on the song – everything falls into place.

As soon as a song becomes active – in the setlist, on the music stand, via pedal or on another device – BandAssist can set up everything else right away.

MIDI

Patches in MainStage, sounds on the keyboard, presets on the Line 6 Helix – as many commands per song as you like.

Console scenes

Load scenes and snippets on the X32/M32 or snapshots on the X Air.

Delay in tempo

The delay time on the console follows the song’s tempo – even when you adjust it.

Apple Music

Link the track to the song and play it on the Mac or open it on your own device.

Light

Mood and color palette of the light per song.

Metronome

Click on its own output, adjust the tempo by tapping and save it for the song.

Timetable & Timer

Everyone knows how much time is left.

In the Timetable tab you set up the evening’s time slots – start time, title, duration. Breaks are added with a single click and move the following slots back; all start times can be shifted at once.

  • Timer window with a full-width 7-segment display – for a second screen or a tablet, full screen with a double-click
  • Green, yellow in the last 5 minutes, red in the last minute, breaks in blue; shortly before the end the display blinks
  • Above it the current slot, below it the next one and the clock
  • Without a timetable, a large clock with weekday and date; works without a console, too
