A bank per song
When a song becomes active, the sampler switches to its bank. That way a Stream Deck key always plays pad 1 of the current song.
Sampler
Intro, applause, break music or sound effects: the sampler plays your samples through the console – triggered from your computer, iPad, control panel or Stream Deck.
Pads & banks
Samples sit on pads, pads sit in banks – one bank per gig or per song, for example. Playback happens on the computer running BandAssist, through an audio device of your choice. Tablets, phones and controllers only trigger, so the sound always reaches the console.
At the gig
When a song becomes active, the sampler switches to its bank. That way a Stream Deck key always plays pad 1 of the current song.
On your computer, tablet and phone, in the control panel, on MIDI controllers, on the Stream Deck or with a key on your keyboard.
Upload WAV, AIFF, FLAC, OGG and MP3 (on a Mac also M4A/AAC) or import whole folders and ZIP packs.
Search Freesound and Openverse – license, author and source stay with the sample.
